Recently, STARMED Pharmaceutical Group was honored to receive the SME100 Award – Top 100 Outstanding SME Enterprises in Asia. The award is a recognition of STARMED Pharmaceutical’s tireless efforts in bringing to market highly applicable pharmaceutical products with exclusive patents.
First held in 2009, the SME100 Asia Awards is a place to recognize and connect businesses that are constantly shining, constantly innovating, creating with impressive achievements and breakthrough development potential in Vietnam and in the region. To become the winning enterprise, STARMED Group had to go through many rounds of evaluation according to international standards and had the most impressive growth rate among hundreds of enterprises nominated for the award in 2024.

STARMED Pharmaceutical Group was established in 2017 and owns two prestigious pharmaceutical brands on the market, Dr.Papie and Dr.Wet.
Dr.Papie is a specialized pharmaceutical brand for children, especially infants. Dr.Papie oral gauze is the first and only patented moist gauze product on the market. Dr.Papie oral gauze is considered a “national” gauze product with over 80% market share of moist gauze in Vietnam (report from Metric). In addition, Dr.Papie fever-reducing towels and Dr.Papie herbal shampoo are currently product lines trusted by millions of parents nationwide.
With the vision of becoming a leading pharmaceutical enterprise in the mother and baby industry, in 2023, STARMED Group launched a product line under the Dr.Wet brand with product lines specializing in women’s health care. Dr.Wet is a pioneer brand in bringing to the market women’s care products with the criteria of safety and convenience, contributing to improving the quality of life for Vietnamese women.
Located in the Group’s ecosystem, the STARMED high-tech factory in Hung Yen is where products under the brand names Dr.Papie and Dr.Wet are manufactured. The factory consists of two production lines: medical equipment and cosmetics, designed and operated in a closed process with advanced, modern technology, meeting WHO GMP standards and ISO 13485 standards.
After nearly 10 years of establishment and development, STARMED Pharmaceutical Group has made rapid progress in terms of revenue, sales points and brand value.
